Lobster Roll (Lobstea)

A lobster roll is typically made with lobster knuckle, claw meat, and tail meat. The meat is stuffed on a white split-top roll that resembles a hot dog bun. They are made with the following ingredients: Lobster, New England-style, split-top buns, Butter, Mayonnaise and Lemon juice

The lobster roll is believed to have originated in Milford, Connecticut in the 1920s at Perry's restaurant. The sandwich was created by Harry Perry, the restaurant's owner, after a traveling salesman asked for a hot grilled lobster sandwich to eat on the road.
